Call for Papers
The Center for the History of Collecting in America at The Frick Collection and Art Reference Library is seeking proposals for papers to be presented at a symposium on “The American Artist as Collector, from the Enlightenment to the Post-War Era,” scheduled for March 6 and 7, 2009.
Fellowship Program
The Center is pleased to announce its fellowship program. Through its fellowships, The Center seeks to encourage research on the history of collecting in America.
We offer both short-term fellowships for junior scholars as well as senior scholars and long-term Leon Levy Fellowships for senior scholars.
Paid Archival Internship
Intern for a three-month period to work on behalf of the Center at the New-York Historical Society for a student in Library and / or Information Science, with an emphasis on archives management.
