If a Zoomify image is available, you will see a screen with an enlarged image. To explore our works of art, you will need to have the free Flash Player. Most computers come pre-loaded with the Flash Player, so you may already have it. However, if you are unable to zoom in to the city views, then you will need to download the Flash Player from Adobe.

If a Zoomify image is not yet available, you will see a screen like the one below. We are working to convert all of our images to Zoomify, and have converted more than 90% of the Collection's photographs to date. Approximately fifty images remain to photograph, and new photography will be taken as time allows.

To navigate through the image, click on the plus or minus symbols to zoom in or out, and use the arrow symbols to move left or right, up or down to see details. Use the circle with an arrow to return to the full image. The triangle at the top of the controls indicates the zoom level of the image, if it is at the far right, you have the largest available image detail.

For more information about Zoomify, see http://www.zoomify.com. We would like to thank Zoomify for providing this technology to us through the EmbARK system.
