The Frick Collection: Fall 2009 / Spring 2010 Curatorial Interns

The Frick Collection is now accepting applications for Curatorial Interns for the 2009-10 academic year. These internships are open to undergraduate and graduate students majoring in art history or relevant fields. All internships are unpaid and applicants are responsible for their own housing and travel arrangements.
The Curatorial Department seeks part- or full-time interns to assist with projects on Venetian Renaissance painting and sculpture, Spanish drawings of the sixteenth to nineteenth century, and Picasso's early drawings. Interns will also assist with ongoing research on the permanent collection.
To apply, please refer to the instructions below. Note that applicants may apply to only one department per season; multiple or duplicate applications will be voided.
Internship applications must be submitted via e-mail; mailed applications are no longer accepted.

- Your contact information and availability
- Your reasons for applying to this internship at The Frick Collection

- Please e-mail your completed application to internships@frick.org.
Applications for the 2009-10 academic year will be accepted on a rolling basis. Fall interns are expected to begin in late September or early October.
No phone calls, please. Owing to the high volume of applicants, only selected individuals will be notified and contacted for interviews.
Summer 2010 applications will not be accepted until November, after updated deadlines and instructions are posted online. |
