The Library's reprographic services are available
for researchers who wish to obtain photocopies from books or photographs. Photographic prints may be ordered from
the negatives owned by the Library. Complete instructions and order
forms may be requested at the Reference Desk.
Photocopies
- Photocopies per page – $.50;
- Color photocopies per page – $3.00 (M–F);
- Postage and handling – $3.00 minimum;
- Cash or checks accepted for payment;
- One order per day (up to 50 pages per order and
no more than 20 pages from a single book);
- Orders must be placed by 3:30 p.m. Monday to Friday
and by 12 noon on Saturdays;
- Orders may be limited, depending on demand, and
may require overnight service or longer;
- No telephone orders are accepted;
- Service is limited on Saturdays.

WARNING CONCERNING COPYRIGHT RESTRICTIONS
The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction not be "Used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement. This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of the copyright law.
Photographic Prints from Library Negatives
Photographic prints or archival inkjet prints from
Library negatives may be obtained.
- Prints for study purposes – $50.00
- Prints for publication – $75.00
- Postage and handling – $6.00 minimum
- Cash or checks accepted for payment
- Allow up to two weeks for processing
once the order is received
The release of an image by the Library in no way grants
or expresses permission for reproduction in any print or electronic
media. Identifying copyright owners and obtaining permission is
the responsibility of the publisher.
