Margot Bogert, President, announces that the Board of Trustees of The Frick Collection welcomes two new members. Bogert comments, “These are very exciting times for the Frick, marked by an unprecedented level of activity and initiatives for both the museum and library. As we continue to fulfill the institution’s mission, while looking to the future, we are pleased to have as collaborators the prominent philanthropist and leading figure in the art world, Agnes Gund, as well as Martha Loring, great–great-granddaughter of founder Henry Clay Frick, an avid supporter of the Frick through the Young Fellows Steering Committee and other affiliations.” Adds Director Anne L. Poulet, “Agnes Gund and Martha Loring share a profound commitment to the arts and education as well as a proven understanding of how to translate such values into activity. I speak for the staff, too, in expressing how much we look forward to working with these two dynamic and inspiring new Trustees.”
