The Frick Collection Celebrates Accomplishments of President Helen Clay Chace, who Retires from Board of Trustees After Nearly Twenty-Five Years of Service

The Frick Collection announced that, after nearly twenty-five years of service on its Board of Trustees, President Helen Clay Chace will retire this fall. She first joined the Board in May of 1981, and as of December 1998 was Vice President. Since April of 2000, she has served as President. During her years of involvement, she sat on numerous committees, among them Executive, Art Acquisitions, Publications (Chair beginning in 1988), House and Garden (Chair beginning in 1982), Public Support (Chair beginning in 1990), Library, Nominating, and Finance. Her term will end at the Board meeting on December 13, 2005, when that body will elect a successor.
