New Board Member Appointed to The Frick Collection

President Helen Clay Chace announces the election of Peter P. Blanchard III to the Board of Trustees of The Frick Collection. Blanchard, a land conservationist, has been active with the Nature Conservancy and the Trust for Public Land. A great grandson of Henry Clay Frick, the Collection’s founder, Blanchard served for ten years on the Board of Trustees of the Helen Clay Frick Foundation in Pittsburgh, PA. He is among a group of new appointments made within the last nine months to the Collection’s Board, a body that has grown in size with the addition of new seats and seen other changes in composition during this period – events that represent the first substantial alternations to the Board since its founding in 1919.
