Make an IRA gift today

If you are at least 70 ½ years old, you can donate up to $100,000 directly from your IRA each year to public charities such as The Frick Collection—without treating the distribution as taxable income on your federal tax return. Please consult with your tax advisor.

To make an IRA gift to the Frick, please:

  1. Contact your IRA administrator to request that a "direct charitable distribution" check be sent to The Frick Collection (Tax ID number: 13-1624012). Many large IRA trustees such as Fidelity have specific forms for this purpose.
  2. Be sure to have the administrator send the check in time to arrive by December 31, if you want the distribution to be effective in the current tax year.

  3. The check should be sent to:

    The Frick Collection
    Attn: Angie Calderwood
    1 East 70th Street
    New York, NY 10021

  4. Alert the Frick so that we can identify your gift when the IRA check arrives and send you the necessary receipt.

If you have any questions, please call Angie Calderwood, Associate Director of Development, at 212-547-6870 or email annualfund@frick.org

Thank you very much for your generosity to The Frick Collection.

You should consult with your own professional advisors regarding the tax implications of your gift, particularly, as here, where your state’s income tax laws may differ from federal law.
